Welcome to Your Right Hand Personal Assistant. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website yourrighthandpa.com and the personal assistant and home concierge services we provide (“Services”). By using our website or booking our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.
In these Terms, “Your Right Hand Personal Assistant,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business operating as Your Right Hand Personal Assistant. “You,” “your,” and “Client” refer to the person or household using our website or Services.
1. Our Services
Your Right Hand Personal Assistant provides personal assistant and home concierge services, which may include errand running, scheduling and coordination, household organization, and other support tasks agreed upon between you and us. The specific Services provided to you will be described in your service agreement, quote, or booking confirmation.
We reserve the right to accept, decline, or discontinue Services for any lawful reason, and to determine which tasks fall within the scope of our Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use our Services. If you are booking Services on behalf of another person or household, including as a parent, guardian, or authorized representative, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
3. Booking, Scheduling, and Access
Scheduling. Services are scheduled in advance based on availability. We will confirm the date, time, and scope of Services with you before the appointment.
Access to your home or property. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your home or property so we can perform the Services. If we cannot access the location at the scheduled time, or if the environment is unsafe, we may be unable to complete the Services and standard charges may still apply.
A safe working environment. You agree to inform us of any hazards, special conditions, or instructions relevant to the Services. This includes pets, security systems, or anything else that affects how we work safely in your space.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
We understand that plans change. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hour notice, or appointments where we cannot access the location, may be subject to a cancellation fee of $100. We will make our cancellation and rescheduling policy clear to you at the time of booking.
5. Pricing and Payment
Pricing. Prices for our Services will be provided in your quote, service agreement, or booking confirmation. We may update our pricing from time to time, and updated pricing will apply to future bookings.
Payment. Payment is due as described at the time of booking. We may use third-party payment processors to handle payments, and by paying you agree to their terms as well.
Program-funded services. If your Services are funded through California’s Self-Determination Program (SDP) or a similar program, billing may be coordinated through a Financial Management Services (FMS) provider or program administrator. You agree to provide accurate information needed to process this billing and to remain responsible for any charges not covered by the program.
Late or failed payments. If a payment fails or is past due, we may pause or discontinue Services until the balance is resolved.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when booking Services
- Provide safe and timely access to your home or property
- Treat our team members with respect and courtesy
- Secure or disclose valuables, fragile items, and sensitive documents
- Comply with these Terms and any additional instructions we provide
7. Our Team and Independent Contractors
Some of our Services may be performed by independent contractors or assigned team members. Regardless of who performs the Services, we remain your point of contact and stand behind the quality of the Services we agree to provide.
8. Non-Solicitation of Our Team
During the period you use our Services and for 12 months afterward, you agree not to directly hire, engage, or solicit any of our team members or contractors for personal assistant, concierge, or similar services outside of Your Right Hand Personal Assistant. If you wish to do so, please talk to us first.
9. Confidentiality
We understand that our work gives us insight into your home and personal life. We treat your information with discretion and use it only to provide the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy. Likewise, you agree to keep confidential any non-public business information you learn about us, including our pricing structures and internal processes.
10. Property, Damage, and Loss
We take care while working in your home. If you believe damage or loss occurred as a result of our Services, please notify us in writing within 24 hours so we can review and address it. Our responsibility for any claim is subject to the limitations in Section 12.
11. Disclaimers
Our Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our Services will meet every expectation or be error-free, though we always aim to do great work.
Our website is provided for general information. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, accurate, or free of errors.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Right Hand Personal Assistant and its owners, team members, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific Services giving rise to the claim during the one month before the event that led to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Your Right Hand and its owners, team members, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
14. Intellectual Property
The content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Your Right Hand Personal Assistant and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without our written permission.
15. Third-Party Links
Our website may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites, and including a link does not mean we endorse them.
16. Termination
We may suspend or end your access to our Services at any time if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or create an unsafe or hostile environment for our team. You may stop using our Services at any time, subject to any outstanding balances and the terms of your service agreement.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.
